Owner of the Design Room! Amanda works full time behind the chair as a stylist, as well as behind the scenes as the manager of the salon! As a full time mama, you get to see both sides of her. Specializing in blondes, lived in colour, and styling, Amanda welcomes everyone into her chair! She has been doing hair for over 10 years and this is the second location of The Design room to be opened. She prioritizes advanced education, growing and learning to make sure we are on top of all trends and newest techniques!
Chloe has established herself as a Senior Stylist and Extension Expert, bringing consistency, care, and elevated results to every appointment. She works five days a week behind the chair and specializes in blondes, lived-in colour, highlights, and styling. Certified in multiple extension methods, Chloe is currently accepting new clients.
Bianca has devoted herself to the hair industry since 2011, when she graduated from VCC and began her career as a stylist. Over the years, Bianca has continued her education to sharpen her skills, refine her technique, and stay on top of the latest trends. She loves all types of cut and colouring services, while specializing in corrective and lived-in colour. her passion for making people feel beautiful inside and out radiates through her work and energy.
Cassy is an advanced Stylist here at The Design Room. She received her education from Utopia Academy, where she graduated with honors. She finished her Hair Design Diploma in 2015, and has been in the hair industry for the past eight years, furthering her education along the way, and always learning the newest trends and technology. Cassy loves that this career allows her to be creative and artistic. She enjoys doing colour services, especially blonding, as well as up styling for special events. Cassy offers both women’s and men’s haircuts, along with colours, styles and treatments.
Angel is a developing stylist with a genuine passion for learning, growth, and client care. She is known for being warm, attentive, and detail-oriented—always listening closely to her clients’ needs. Angel is dedicated to creating beautiful results while continuing to grow toward mastering her skills, and she’s happy to welcome both new and returning guests.
Meet Jenna, our bubbly receptionist who ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes! She’s the superstar behind our emails, phone calls, and all online aspects. When you step into the salon, Jenna will be the first friendly face that you’ll see, and her cheerful voice is the one welcoming you when you call. Beyond her receptionist duties, Jenna also brings her creative flair to online graphics and website tweaks, keeping everything looking fresh and inviting. She has a love for meeting new people and creating new relationships.
